A merry group of local three and four year olds from Sundrop Preschool took a field trip to XC Ski HQ last week, and learned how to cross country ski!

We received over an inch of snow last night, which will freshen up the trails beautifully today. Groomer Mike is snowcombing the entire trail system this morning. Get your fill of skiing today, because with tomorrow’s forecast looking to be very warm and very wet all day, we will not groom and very well may have to close the trails tomorrow in an effort to preserve the base. Current snow depth in the woods is 6 to 8 inches. Snow depth packed on most of the trails is 3 to 6 inches.

Today: Mostly cloudy skies. High near 25F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Cloudy skies. Low near 20F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph.

Tomorrow: Rain showers in the morning becoming a steady light rain in the afternoon. High 43F. Winds SSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Higher wind gusts possible.
