The trail crew will be laying out this fresh new layer of snow on the icy patches of the trail system all day today!

After the rain and the freezing temps Wednesday/Thursday, the trail crew has been hard at work to get the snow surface skiable and safe. As of this morning, only the Trapper’s Cabin and Mackinaw Cut/Wild Turkey trails are open. Conditions are fast, and the best skiing for skating and classic will be found in the skating lanes, as the tracks are quite iced over. Fortunately, we have a huge stockpile of man-made snow, and the snow moving crew will be busy all day hauling snow out to the icy spots of the trail system. We hope to finish patching up Wild Turkey, and also get at least part of Rolling Hills ready for the weekend. Please keep an eye out and yield to snow moving operations. Hopefully we get the snow that is in the forecast tonight!!
