Good Morning Badgers,

John and Chad report 14 degrees and ~1” of new snow on the Vasa trail this morning. They are setting new tracks and skate lane corduroy, and have completed the 5k loop, are currently progressing around the 25k, and will follow with the 10k. Overall the trail is shaping up nicely with a bit of new snow to refresh the surface, but the guys report that tracks are turning out shallow in places with less snow to work with from this week’s storm than expected. *Our old friend 10k who became a trail mascot a few winters ago just sent me this selfie and says she’s enjoying retirement in Costa Rica while doing lots of yoga and learning to surf. She hasn’t aged a bit!
