Congrats to Team Vasa, who won the Michigan Cup yesterday at the culmination of the Michigan Cup Series – the Michigan Cup Relays at Cross Country Ski Headquarters! The Headquarters Team took 3rd place, but is as eager as ever to try to take back the Cup next season!

We have received over an inch of snow so far today, and it is supposed to keep snowing all day. The trails are open, but use caution as there is a quite a bit of ice underneath the fresh snow. We plan to groom tomorrow in an effort to let the snow accumulate throughout the day today, we expect a full recovery of the trail system and great conditions tomorrow. Yesterday’s Michigan Cup Relays went off without a hitch, and 120 skiers enjoyed better-than-expected conditions considering the warm temps and wet weather! Thanks to all who participated, and a BIG thanks to our grooming team of Mike and Butch Stockton for preparing such a great course!
