Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 03/24

We are experiencing spring weather. Rain, snow, ice, temps barely at and just above freezing. However, Linda’s Loop and Frank’s Way have benefitted from the snowmaking earlier and are accumulating some of the wintry mix. Lower temperatures this weekend will allow for grooming therefore we will be open 9 to 5 per usual. $10 trail fee.

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Today is Founders Day at the Corner and Dave has made sure that we would have plenty of snow to groom and ski to celebrate. The raffle drawing for the Reid Goble fundraiser is also on tap at 10AM. We plan to groom the majority of our trails, tilling in the 4 to 6 inches received over the last few days, putting us back to 100% coverage. Trail passes for non-season pass holders are reduced to $10. A major winter storm is forecast starting late Saturday night and going into Monday for the northern lower and UP. Guess you could say today is the calm before the storm. Check out the weather forecast and stay informed. Open at 9. Gates close at 5.
We expect to look like this again by late Sunday going into next week. #forbush #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganToday is Founders Day at the Corner and Dave has made sure that we would have plenty of snow to groom and ski to celebrate.
