Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 04/08

The loop survived the latest rainy warm-up. Temperatures dropped below freezing last night and set the snow up enough to do some recon. It still has full coverage and no standing water.

Temperatures will be dropping below freezing tonight and Saturday night, so we will be grooming both days this weekend and the shop will be open 9-5 both days. Should be some pretty good April skiing!

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing --> The flags are down, which means we are calling it for the season. We had hoped for one more weekend, but we had several spots open up on the loop this week. Thank you to everyone for a great season. We will be having more work bees this year to open up the new trails, so stay tuned for updates... #forbush #SkiMichiganThe flags are down, which means we are calling it for the season. FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing --> A new record was set yesterday by Eli Brown on the man made snow loop. 100k! When asked if he would return today he said probably not. Something about being a little tired.😜.
Loop is being groomed as I post this. As Eli said “if you are skiing in April you don’t stop because you don’t know when you will be skiing again “... #forbush #SkiMichigan
