Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 04/29
Full sun of yesterday re-groomed the trails this am. Skated backwards on W and then looped back to upper parking lot.
Temps above 32 degrees so not to icey. Not to bad for 4/30/22.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/16 and John is out touching up some of the trails. H don't do, it's very rough, more snow needed. Temps are on the warm up so grooming will get tricky. So if I was you, I being heading to ski right now. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan
FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/15, Wow Snowmageddon at VS for last two days. Thank you Miss Superior for The Lake Affect. John will be grooming the system today. John reports 18 inches of snow in the woods and 6 to 8 inches packed on the trails. Lodge open 7 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm. Volunteers staff the desk Thursday-Sundays. UPDATE: John went through H Trail for the 1st time today. It is very rough. I would avoid that trail until we get more snow. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan

The Lake Affect Snow just kept coming. John lost the battle to keep up with the snow today. We asked for more snow and we got it.

The lodge will be keeping the fire going and I suggest hand and toe warmers for your ski.
