Caberfae Peaks Snow Report – 12/17
LIFTS ARE OPEN 10 AM TO 4:30 PM TODAY
We received 3″ of new snow in the last 24 hours and the NWS has another 2″ in today’s forecast. With snowmaking last night and a high of 29 today, it’ll be a great day to hit the slopes and the extended forecast at the Peaks looks outstanding for skiing and riding.
The lifts are now spinning daily from 10 am to 4:30 pm through December 24th.

South Peak Lift sustained significant icing during the freezing rain event Sunday & Sunday night. This icing event was followed by very cold temperatures that has made the ice very hard and difficult to remove. The Lift Maintenance Crew is working hard to safely and methodically remove all the ice from the lift. Please understand this a long process and your patience is appreciated. The crew still has a long way to go. However, the temperatures are forecasted to moderate on Thursday and Friday this week, which will help. We are now planning to have the lift open by Saturday, and we will be back to 100% open for the weekend. Please continue to check back for updates.
