Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/23

UPDATED DECEMBER 23

Someone is shaking their snow globe over Schuss Mountain and it is a POWDER DAY! 6” of new snow overnight, with up to 14-16” more anticipated to fall today.

Schuss Mountain will be open today from 9am-4:30pm with 12 runs open serviced by the yellow, purple, and magic carpet lifts.

The pink and blue chairlifts will be opening for the season this Saturday, which opens up just over 70% of our skiable terrain at Schuss Mountain.

After finishing off the front of the mountain, all of our snowmaking efforts will now turn towards getting the red lift open for the season. Stay tuned – we’re making our way to 100%!
