Crystal Mountain Snow Report – 01/13
We’re skiing and riding on 47 slopes this Friday the 13th from 9am-9pm. We received a small amount of snow over the past 24 hours to help keep our runs nice and frosty! Today’s forecast is much cooler than yesterday’s with cloudy conditions, flurries and snow showers, a high near 27F, and north winds 10 to 15 mph. Tonight there’ll be partly cloudy skies, low temps reaching 12F, and north winds 5 to 10 mph. We made great snow last night, the slopes look awesome today!
High School race training today is on Buck and Loki from 4pm-6pm. NASTAR is 1pm-3pm on Cheers to Lou. CCSC is on Tucks 6pm-8pm.
Little Vincent will open by noon as our terrain park crew finishes setting up multiple features including the kink rail, flat T Box, flat rail, flat down box, and Jr. rainbow! The features in Jester’s Alley terrain park have been updated with a dance floor, propane tank, urban down rail, c-box, tower tube and 22’ tube rail. The Pumping Service Pump Track is open on Megan’s Way.
First Tracks: Crystal Mountain Premier Season Passholders, Premium Snowsports and Ultimate FSC Members and Crystal Community Ski Club have early access to Buck chairlift at 8am Saturday!
Learn to ski and snowboard month has started, check out the great deals. January 15 is World Snow Day! We encourage you to celebrate by learning a new winter sports skill! We’re providing free presentations to introduce “first timers” to snow sports and proper safety measures. Stop by the Crystal Center between 10am-1pm for Tammie Budrow’s Chill Out for Winter Safety presentation to learn about proper helmet safety and preventing winter injuries.
