Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 02/02
All trails are open with good coverage on the skate deck and well formed tracks.
Fresh groom on Ridge, Badlands, Rollercoaster and Pancake this morning. The 240 loop and Linda’s Link are unavailable though. Larry will be spreading out the huge artificial snow piles made earlier in the week.
For your safety, please do not go near the groomer.

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> We are getting positive feedback from skiers skiing our new Townline Rd reroute ( part of the Pines Loop post A to B ) that we worked on over the summer. It runs through land that was devasted by a fire in 1871. Therefore, we are going to name it the 1871 Fire Trail. Check out the burned stumps here and there as you cruise through. #forbush #SkiMichigan
FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Looks like a nice winter day to be outside. All trails are open and tracked. Some limited grooming today, getting to the point where more snow is needed on the trails in the woods. Open 9 to 5 today. Then closed 23, 24, and 25. We will then reopen on the 26th and stay open, 9 to 5, everyday through Jan 5th. Happy Holidays all! #forbush #SkiMichigan
Chandlee, They have a nice loop supported by snowmaking. Next week looks good if you want a day trip. Drive is 2 easy hours, 127 to 75. Facility is just off 75
