XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/07

In good conditions, night skiing is available every night! The Trapper’s Cabin is lit with solar lights, and the rest of the trails can be skied with a headlamp (or by moonlight!)

We received freezing rain last night, which has frozen into a solid layer atop the snow. Due to the warmer temps today and tomorrow, will not be grooming for the sake of snow preservation. Skiing is not recommended due to the ice. Our snow moving team is working this week to spread man-made snow onto the trail system, which will enable us to have skiable snow for the weekend no matter what the weather brings. The Stone Turtle Cafe is open for lunch today – try a Bob’s Favorite Tuna panini with Kettle Chips and a dill pickle!

Upcoming Events:

Saturday, Feb 11th & Sunday, Feb 12th: Mas Tacos and Saturday Free Ski Lesson!
Tacos and a craft brew from the Stone Turtle Cafe… could there be a more perfect post-ski meal? Enjoy slow roasted meats, beans, and an assortment of flavorful toppings will ignite your taste buds and leave you saying: Mas Tacos! Served from noon to 3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Plus, join us for the Free Saturday Ski Lesson at 10:30am.
