Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 02/17
Fresh LES overnight so groomer John C was happy. All trails in great shape this a.m. 19F and light snow in well formed classic tracks. Skate lanes looking very good. VS has a packed base of 12-14” with about 24” off trail. Weather forecast is great for the next week so trail conditions will hold.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/19 and winter is returning, lower temps, a little snow and more hopefully on it's way. Very high winds today. The roads are very icy. The lodge won't be open today. You ask do I have any good news? John is out grooming and removing trees from the high winds. John is still unable to groom H and the 1st part of G. Very wet, need to freeze and more snow. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
