Crystal Mountain Snow Report – 02/22

Snow forecasted nearly all day today! We received a fresh and fluffy two inches early this morning and expect a lot more today. Heavy snow and blowing snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of around 6 to 12+ inches through 7pm Thursday. The heaviest snow is expected later this afternoon through tonight. Wind gusts as high as 40 mph and prepare for icy road conditions. The storm watch remains in effect from 1pm today through 7pm Thursday. Our snowmakers also flipped the guns on overnight to help add to the majesty of our slopes.

LIFT HOURS: Crystal Clipper Quad 9am-9pm, Buck Quad 9am-9pm, Loki Quad 9am-9pm, North Face Quad 10am-4:30pm, Ridge Triple 9am-8:30pm, and both Crystal Carpets 9am-9pm. Backyard Triple is closed midweek but Backyard slopes are open with access to Ridge lift.

WEATHER: Snow! High around 30F. Winds ENE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. This evening we’re watching a potential winter storm. Snow this evening will transition to snow showers late. Low near 20F. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches.

TERRAIN PARKS: Jester’s Alley has been rebuilt! Features include a propane tank, spine, jr. tube, 20’ box, small table top, dance floor, and the A-frame box. Also open: Little Vincent and the Pumping Service Pump Track on Megan’s Way.

RACING: TCW and Glen Lake on Buck 4pm-6pm, MSRT on Cheers to Lou 4pm-6pm, Benzie and USSS/MSRT on Loki 4pm-6pm.
