FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/16 and John is out touching up some of the trails. H don't do, it's very rough, more snow needed. Temps are on the warm up so grooming will get tricky. So if I was you, I being heading to ski right now. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan ... See MoreSee Less

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/15, Wow Snowmageddon at VS for last two days. Thank you Miss Superior for The Lake Affect. John will be grooming the system today. John reports 18 inches of snow in the woods and 6 to 8 inches packed on the trails. Lodge open 7 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm. Volunteers staff the desk Thursday-Sundays. UPDATE: John went through H Trail for the 1st time today. It is very rough. I would avoid that trail until we get more snow. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan ... See MoreSee Less

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/13 John has groomed all the trails but H this morning and reports it looks great due to the cold weather tightening up the trails. The lodge will be keeping the fire going and I suggest hand and toe warmers for your ski. Please post your pictures in the comments. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan12/13 John has groomed all the trails but H this morning and reports it looks great due to the cold weather tightening up the trails.
