Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 03/24
Friday, March 24th, just talked to John. John is running the steel drag on the Heavens, W and Y right now. Then he is going over it with The Ginzu to try and loosen up the ice. The pictures are of the damage on the Heavens by the snowmobilers. John said it’s going to be tough fixing the Heavens.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/6 and there will be no new grooming today. We did get a light snow fall overnight. John plans to groom Sunday. John is working in his shop getting the old Jeep ready for grooming. We did sell the other Jeep. We are so fortunate to have John. John can fix anything. John is both Groomer and Mechanic. Do you all realize how much money he has saved us? Plus we don't have the down time of sending our equipment to shop. The lodge is open and we are so ready to see all our friends from near and far. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/4 and I have great news. We will be officially opening for the season tomorrow Friday the 5th of December. The lodge will be open, trails will be groomed, the parking lot plowed, and shoveling crew has done their job. John Cromell has put in a lot of hours removing trees from the trails. Today he had Magnus out rolling trails. What a difference one good snowstorm can make at Valley Spur. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan
