Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 03/30

Thursday March 30th- starting out the day with single digits, sun and lots of base to groom! Today we will be working on grooming up all the east side trails including the loop, ridge, rollercoaster, Cry Baby?, and badlands which will make for some great skiing with A skis for most of the day.

We will be closed on Friday because the forecast for Friday/Friday night is calling for over an inch of rain and temperatures in the mid 40’s.

It’s hard to say what Saturday morning is going to hold for grooming, but it’s probable that the base will be too soft and wet to groom except for the 240 snowmaking loop and Linda’s link.

We may be able to groom up more trails on Sunday based on how the base sets up and how the base survives the rain on Friday.

We do plan to be open this Saturday and Sunday with at least the snowmaking loop groomed.
