Schuss Mountain will be open daily for the season beginning Saturday, December 16 with 5 runs available, including Purple Daze, Village Way, Boulevard, Under and Elf Buster beginner area.
Our snowmaking crew has been working tirelessly through the nights to maximize snow production with the weather conditions dealt by Mother Nature. While we’ve been able to make snow in some areas at Schuss, the hours for snowmaking have been limited. Rest assured, our dedicated mountain crew continue their efforts behind the scenes to make snow at every possible opportunity.
Lift tickets will be $38 and as a reminder, all operations will be taking place at Cedar River Village.
Dead On Tuning located at Schuss Village will be open from 9am-4:30pm, but please note there is no slope access to the tuning center.
Santa will be making appearances several times throughout this weekend, from Storytime with Santa on Friday night at 6:45pm, to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning in the Lakeview Restuarant. The grand finale of the weekend will be at our annual tree lighting ceremony, the Tannenbaum Blitzen. Enjoy a pasta buffet beginning at 6pm, followed by an appearence from Santa and a fireworks display over Schuss Mountain around 7:00pm.
