Marquette Mountain Snow Report – 01/11

01/11/2024

We open at Noon today. There will be snowmaking and cat operations. Ski and ride with care and only on open terrain.

Cliffs and Rocket are BLACK runs
Loganโ€™s is a GREEN connector
Tyro is our beginner area with a paddle tow surface lift
We will be running Snowfield Chair/Lift 2
The New Ridge hike up park opens at 3pm

Details for the week:

1/10-1/12:

Lift 2 & Tyro: Noon-8pm

Terrain: Tyro, Logan’s, Rocket (from midway), Cliffs

1/13 and forward:

Stay tuned!

The abbreviated hours during the week will allow us to focus on snowmaking and getting more terrain open. The Tbar, Iron Moose Grill and Rentals will be open during operating hours.

We will be adding a hike up park on New Ridge to our open terrain starting tomorrow.

The park will open at 3pm on Wednesday – Friday this week.

As the snow melts and we officially close the lifts, we are feeling incredibly humbled and overwhelmingly grateful. From those deep, classic Lake Superior lake-effect powder days to the warm, slushy spring laps under bluebird skies, this season was one for the booksโ€”and itโ€™s all because of YOU.

Whether you were here for first chair every weekend, taking your very first lesson, or just hanging out at the Tbar swapping stories, your energy and stoke make this place magic. To the snowmakers who worked through the freezing nights to lay down the base, the groomers who laid down fresh corduroy, the ski patrol who kept us safe, the lift ops who kept us moving, the instructors who passed on the passion, and the base area staff who kept us fueled and warm, and taught new skiers about gearโ€”you are the unsung heroes of this mountain. Your hard work and dedication mean everything. ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽฟ
We might be packing away our skis and boards for now, but the memories from this winter are going to keep us going until the flakes start flying again.
