Shanty Creek Snow Report – 01/11

January 11

Slope Hours: 9am-9pm

The Natty Glades are now open!

Weather forecast are predicting up to 6” of snow by tomorrow, with the second wave of a winter system, moving in.

Last night our mountain crew began what looks like a weeklong stretch of around-the-clock snowmaking. They’ll be wrapping up snowmaking efforts on the yellow (focusing on King’s Canyon, Goosebumps and Sarejevo), then moving on to begin work on the pink pod (Belle’s Bottom, Queens Corner, Pink Schussycat, Double Dip, Dungeon’s Dip), with the hopes of opening the pink chairlift early next week.

Our Alpine Tubing Park located at Summit Mountain will be open this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
