Marquette Mountain Snow Report – 01/12

The snow is falling, the blizzard is coming!

Night skiing tickets go on sale at 5:30pm in the Mountain Shop, come enjoy some freshies!

The Snowfield lift spins at 9 am tomorrow with Rocket chair at 9:30am. New terrain will be open, come get first tracks with us on the holiday weekend.

INDY PASS Snowboard & Ski Group, get in the car now and head up! We have no blackout dates for our Indy Pass soul mates.

Snow, Terrain, & Winter Sports School Update for Saturday, January 13:

We have been making snow like gangbusters– our crew has been hitting it hard! We are excited to announce expanded terrain, lifts, and hours just in time for the long holiday weekend!

New Lift Access Terrain:
Nastar, Twin Hemlock, Ridge, New Ridge and Lower Ridge will all be added to the current Cliffs, Rocket, Logan’s and Tyro.

Lifts:
We’re adding Rocket Chair/Lift 1 to the line up of Snowfield Chair/Lift 2 and the paddle tow on Tyro.

Hours:
Saturday, 1/13 | 9am-9pm
Sunday, 1/14 | 9am-5pm
Monday, 1/15 | 10am-5pm
Tuesday – Friday, 1/16-1/19 | 10am-9pm

Snowsport Lessons:
Private/Semi-private, Learn to Ski or Ride, and Discover Michigan Learn To lessons are all available this weekend. Registration is open for our Multi-week Mountaineer lessons, the first series of which begins soon.

As the snow melts and we officially close the lifts, we are feeling incredibly humbled and overwhelmingly grateful. From those deep, classic Lake Superior lake-effect powder days to the warm, slushy spring laps under bluebird skies, this season was one for the booksโ€”and itโ€™s all because of YOU.

Whether you were here for first chair every weekend, taking your very first lesson, or just hanging out at the Tbar swapping stories, your energy and stoke make this place magic. We might be packing away our skis and boards for now, but the memories from this winter are going to keep us going until the flakes start flying again.
