Unfortunately the trails are indefinitely closed for skiing due to massive storm damage. They are impassable.

Two heavy wet snow and ice high wind events during this past week have taken a disastrous toll.

After the first storm, a small group of volunteers worked for two days at Silver Valley and were only able to clear 4 miles of the 22 miles of trails.

Last night’s storm knocked down a lot more trees and completely covered the work that had been accomplished.
