The Highlands Snow Report – 03/01

Last updated: Saturday 08:04 AM

Happy Saturday!
Mother Nature gave us a quick hit of 2 to 3 inches of new snow in yesterday’s clipper system. It’s going to be a chilly weekend, but with the new snow and our dedicated grooming team working throughout the night, it will make for some great riding today. So, layer up, grab your gear, and make some turns. (p.s. Camelot 6, our heated bubble lift will keep you warm.) These are the Pure Michigan ski days you don’t want to miss!

A few reminders:
Ski School is open daily, with morning, and a full-day kids camp, private and group lessons.

The Adventure Center is available for extra fun, with zipline, sno-go, the enchanted trail and equestrian.

The Nordic Center is open for Classic XC Skiing, snowshoe and fat tire biking.

Here is what you can expect today:
Lift Hours: 9 AM – 9:00 PM
Wed-Sat: 9 AM – 9 PM

Lifts: ALL lifts are open. This includes Camelot 6 (the fastest lift in Michigan & it is heated!), Heather Express, Challenger, Interconnect (brand new 3-person chairlift providing a faster ascent to North Peak), Amy’s, North Face, Renate’s Express, Magic Carpet

Trails: 55 trails are open. Take a look at the trail status below for the full line-up.

Glade Skiing Runs:
Open: Please, as always, use caution in these natural snow areas.

Terrain Parks: All 3 parks are open, and we have a new feature on the new Lower Funland Park. We also built a small half-pipe, allowing beginners to ride down the middle and bank turns or for more advanced park riders to catch a little air! We installed a brand new feature at the bottom of Lower Funland Park (located at the base of Camelot), enhancing this beginner oriented park’s theme. It is designed to be beginner friendly and allows for steady progression for all riders.

Dining: We offer a variety of dining and beverage options throughout the property. Don’t miss Champs pizza in the Day Lodge – open weekends until 10 PM. Explore our dining tab on the website, app, or weekly happenings for all the options available both on-hill and off-hill.

You can check our full event schedule on our website for everything to look forward to.

Special Offer: Stay Midweek and take advantage of our Midweek Bundle. Lodging guests can bundle together an All-Day Lift Ticket + Equipment Rental + Morning Group Lesson for discounted savings of over 50%! Available now through March!

A little extra bonus – all season passholders and Ikon receive up to 20% off lodging at the resort. If you are not a season passholder and lodge at our resort, you receive up to 20% off lift tickets.

Keep an eye on our Mountain Report and social media for updates, or sign-up for our email newsletter. We will see you out on the slopes soon!
