How Fitting, Hero Snow
Saturday is setting up to be a MARVELous day on the slopes! A dash of natural snow paired with the power of our Super Pohlcats and Boyne Low-E fan guns helped the grooming team create a snow surface that’s both crisp and responsive – exactly what you want to make those perfect carved turns that make you feel like a superhero.
Whether you’re planning to cruise the groomers, work on your technique, or just soak in the sunshine while enjoying the mountain views, now is the time to visit. Boyne Mountain is committed to giving you the best slope experience we can, all spring long!
Kids’ Festival Weekend
The fun continues off-the-slopes with our Kids’ Fest celebration! Kiddos can have a total blast getting creative with face painting, catching some air on our trampolines, and showing everyone what they’ve got in our silly ski competitions. Don’t miss a visit from a mermaid on Saturday at Avalanche Bay! The highlight of the weekend is tonight’s Marvelous Dining Experience, where registered guests feast alongside caped crusaders!
Kid’s Fest Deets
Victor Glacier = Laps Into May
Victor trail is STACKED with an impressive 280 inches of snow, and we plan to ride it out well into May, perhaps even Memorial Day weekend.
Slope Hours
9am-9pm daily through Friday, March 14
This is the last week of of night skiing, get after it!
Slope Plan
Starting March 15, the slopes are open daily from 9am-4:30pm through Sunday, April 6. We then go to a weekend only (Saturday/Sunday) schedule with as much terrain as possible available through April 20. Post 4/20, it’s all about Victor. We’ll add some features and ride out the weekends from 9am-1pm until the snow melts. If we hit Memorial Weekend, you know there’ll be a party!

Our last night of Local Love is this Thursday, March 13! Residents from Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, and Otsego counties can score sweet discounts on- and off-the-slopes. Local Love Nights are our way of saying thanks for keeping the stoke high all season long.
Last Two Weekends of First Tracks
The Mountain Express chairlift opens at 8:30am for all qualifying passholders – Gold, Silver, Bronze, and NoMi Boyne Michigan Passes.
Mitten Love
Starting March 17 through the end of eternity…or our season, whichever comes first, anyone with a valid season pass from ANY Michigan ski resort can ride at Boyne Mountain for just $25 per day – no blackouts. Best of all, $2 from every ticket goes towards the Snow Angel Foundation.

Duane was more than a lift operator; he was a greeter, a candy man, a Legend with a capital L. The kind of person who made a chairlift ride feel like the best part of your day. If you were lucky, you'd settle into your seat and feel something land in your hood. A little piece of candy, and a whole lot of joy.
He did that for everyone. He didn't care if you were on your first run or your thousandth.
That's what made Duane so special. He was a constant reminder that mountains are shared places. We all come here chasing the same thing. Deep snow, first tracks, and a feeling that's hard to explain to anyone who hasn't felt it. Duane got that better than most.
Opening day is going to feel a little different this year. But we carry him with us in every bluebird morning, every act of kindness passed to a stranger on the lift, and every kid who gets their first taste of winter magic.
