Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 11/25

Last updated: Tuesday 11:36 AM

Winter is Coming

Hold onto your hats, snow lovers, because we’re about to get DUMPED ON. Boyne Mountain is under its first Winter Storm Watch of the season.

Cue the Lake Effect

Wednesday night through Thursday, Mother Nature is rolling out the welcome mat with legitimate lake effect snow. Strong winds and intense lake effect bands could bring 6-12" to our neck of the woods.

Travel Smart Out There

If you’re hitting the roads this Thanksgiving week, take it slow and be prepared. Pack an emergency kit, give yourself extra time, and remember that Michigan roads can get slick fast when lake effect snow rolls in. Check road conditions before you head out. Winter driving demands respect.
