Our snowmaking team worked hard all weekend, running the snow guns to take full advantage of the cold weather. They are creating a strong, solid base that will guarantee a fantastic season ahead. We will keep making snow every chance we get, as long as temperatures allow! On top of that, we received 5 inches of fresh natural snow over the weekend, and the forecast calls for even more lake effect snow tonight.

With a promising cold forecast for the week, we’re hoping to kick off the season and open the slopes on Friday, December 5. Keep in mind, this timeline is subject to Mother Nature – so get your gear ready and we’ll keep everyone posted on an official opening day announcement VERY soon.
