Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 12/03

Last updated: Wednesday 12:13 PM

OPENING DAY: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5

Mark your calendars. Circle the date. Do whatever you need to do, because we are dropping the ropes this Friday DAILY FOR THE SEASON.

Guess Who’s Back?

Just when you thought Mother Nature was done, lake effect is firing back up with 2-5 inches (possibly more) headed our through Thursday evening.Favorable wind direction, cold temps, and all the right ingredients are lining up for a solid pre-opening dump.

And while Mother Nature handles the natural snow, our snowmaking crew has been absolutely crushing it, logging over 72 hours of nonstop work to stack as much terrain as possible for opening day. They’ve been locked in, guns blazing, making sure Friday delivers.

In the meantime, uphill travel is CLOSED while we finish prepping the mountain. Snowmaking guns are firing, groomers are out, and winch cats are doing their thing across the resort. Please stay clear and let the crew work their magic.

Lights In The Sky

Light up your night on SkyBridge Michigan, now decked out in over 200,000 twinkling lights. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season while you’re counting down to opening day.

Know Before You Go

Safety isn’t about killing the vibe. It’s about protecting it. From dialing in your equipment to reading snow and weather conditions, we want you armed with everything you need to make smart calls on the mountain. When you know what you’re doing out there, everyone has a better day.
