Michigan Ski Blog – Snow Reports

Crystal Mountain Snow Report – 12/13

The slopes are open daily, lift hours are 9am – 4:30pm. After a successful midweek stretch of snowmaking and a generous amount of snowfall for this soon in the season, early season conditions are incredible! Around 3" of snow settled on the slopes overnight, and the forecast calls for snow showers later this Saturday.

Saturday, Dec 13: North Face Quad opens! Our skilled snowmaking crew has expertly prepared our North Face terrain for its season debut and several new runs are open. That means over 60% of our trails are now available for skiing and riding. The Buck, Loki, and Clipper quad chairlifts are also spinning, plus our two carpet lifts in the learning area. In addition, freestyle skiers and riders can enjoy six park features built in Jester’s Alley including the 20′ T-Box, 10′ and 20′ Shotgun Rails, 20′ Tube, Junior Tube, plus the 20′ Wave Box. Kudos to our park crew!

To everyone who joined us for opening weekend – THANK YOU! Your energy helped launch what’s shaping up to be a fantastic winter season.

Lift hours from Saturday, December 13 through Thursday, December 18 will be 9am – 4:30pm. Night skiing begins Friday, December 19 (9am – 9pm).
