Swiss Valley Ski Area Snow Report – 12/24

Merry Christmas! We will be open Christmas Eve 9:30am-4:30pm & Closed Christmas Day.

Please note although we are open daily 9:30am-9:30pm (regular hours) and rates.

Although we are experiencing a mild winter temps, we have made plenty of snow! The snow will be softer and heavier due to the warmer temperatures when the lifts spin again on December 26th, , but it makes for great conditions to learn to ski and ride, or to practice new skills. The snow base is in fine condition to manage the warmer temps through the next few days.

Lift & Terrain Update:

Beginner Magic Carpet 1, Chair1, Chair 2, and Chair 3 will be spinning! Open runs include Easy Over, Sandy’s Dandy, Swiss Miss, Mountain Do, Weezy’s Way, Hope It Snowed, Cow Path, Graduation, Wizard’s Way and Three Sisters, beginner through advanced terrain.

Beginner terrain is groomed and ready for learners and families. This includes Easy Over served by our Magic Carpet West and our Self-Guided Learning Area located at the Top of Chair 1.

Intermediate and advanced runs are well-covered with machine-groomed and hard packed surfaces.

The Ditch — our Main Terrain Park — will feature 2 jumps and more than 10 rails and boxes, offering fun and progression for riders of all ability levels. Check out current Terrain Park features here. Terrain park features may be limited as the crew works on approaches and landings.
