Lots of happy skiers yesterday!

After a blizzard of a day yesterday, and more snow through the night, the trails are looking nice! Groomer Mike is out rolling as we speak and will groom everything up afterwards to make for some good skiing. More snow is forecasted for today and tomorrow, so we expect to set tracks on everything we can. Still a bit blustery out there, so there is a chance for a some light debris, but nothing extreme. Come on out and enjoy the snow!

Today: Snowy in the morning through mid afternoon, High 19F. Winds 10-15mph

Tonight: Snow 1-2", low 17F. Winds 5-10mph.

Tomorrow: Snow, snow, snow, 2-3". High 19F. Winds at 10-15 mph.

Saturday, January 3rd: Free Beginner Ski Lesson
Learn how to cross country ski at our FREE beginner ski lesson! You will learn the basics of traditional (classic style) XC ski technique, plus hill climbing, descending, and turning. You will even learn how to get up when you fall down! Free lessons are limited to 25 people. Ski rentals are available at the rental desk on a first-come, first-served basis (we do not take rental reservations). The free lesson lasts 1 hour.

Saturday, Jan 3 & Sunday, Jan 4th: Ski Clinics with Jordyn Ross
Northern Michigan University Nordic Team Alum and top Michigan Cup racer, Jordyn Ross, is back for another outstanding clinic series. The Saturday clinics for beginner skate and intermediate skate and classic are full, but there is room in Sunday’s advanced-intermediate and expert skate and classic clinics.
