CONDITIONS UPDATE: December 31st 2025

Good Morning & Happy New Year’s Eve, from The Highlands Team!

100% POWDER DAY!! Well, this is it, folks, the last day of 2025 and the snow is coming down! The Highlands Team, whether it be our snowmakers, groomers, lift ops, housekeepers, chefs, bartenders, lifties, resort services team, wants to Thank You for supporting The Highlands this year. We could not have gotten to this point without you and our fabulous team. So come out and get your turns in before the year ends, the warmest lift in the Midwest is warming up just for you. Don’t forget we will have our TORCHLIGHT PARADE AND FIREWORKS tonight at 9:30 PM after the lights go out. The roads are slippery, so allow extra time for driving. Parking lots and walkways will likely be slippery, so walk cautiously and be patient. Have a great final snow day of 2025!

RESORT EVENTS | REMINDERS
DJ T-Bone will be spinning the jams on the snow deck at the Day Lodge 12 PM to 4 PM.

Zoo Bar: Family New Year’s Eve Party (Open to All), Zoo Bar: 9 PM – 12 AM featuring BIG TON on the stage.

Torchlight Parade & Fireworks: 9:30 PM the event will begin. The famous torchlight parade will kick things off with our world-class Snowsports Team, followed by fireworks over Olympic. The best viewing spot is from the base of Heather and Slopeside.

The Aonach Mor Moonlight Dinner is now on select winter nights. This is a fine dining experience atop North Peak, reached by sleigh ride and served by candlelight. Sign up on our website. It is an experience you don’t want to miss.

We also have Night Hikes to North Peak on select nights, which is always a favorite for the entire family.

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online in advance for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We also have a SnowFlex ticket pack, purchase 2 – 5 days of lift tickets and use them whenever it works out for you, with no blackout dates – 100% flexibility. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to help with anything you may need.
