Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 12/31
Last updated: Wednesday 07:08 AM
OPERATIONS UPDATE
Meadows lift is currently closed due to an electrical issue. Our lift maintenance team is working with Doppelmayr to get it back online. We understand the recent lift issues are not ideal and appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through these challenges. We will provide updates as soon as we have them.
LAKE EFFECT IS BACK
Now through Wednesday Morning: Lake effect is ongoing and will continue through the evening. Snowfall should ease up around 2am Wednesday.
Wednesday Morning through Thursday Morning: Lake effect ramps back up, especially in our area. Snow kicks in fully by early afternoon and continues through the evening. We are looking at 4-9" of freshies to starts off 2026. Snow should begin to fizzle out by midnight as we celebrate the new year.
NYE BOYNE MOUNTAIN STYLE
This is how you do New Year’s Eve right: wake up and make turns on the slopes, hit Avalanche Bay for some waterpark action (complete with Glow Night from 4-8pm), then feast on at one of our two dinner offerings. Down a little bubbly, dress warm, and watch our annual Torchlight Parade light up the slopes of Victor before fireworks explode over the mountain at 9:30pm.
Take in the magic of Lights In The Sky at SkyBridge Michigan until 9pm with over 200,000 twinkling lights across the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge. Plus, catch live music from the Yankee Station Band in Snowflake Lounge from 5-7pm.
The main event: Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:30pm on the slopes of Victor. It’s a spectacle you won’t want to miss.
Keep the party going with the Kids’ Glow Party in the Civic Center for neon-lit fun, music, and dancing. Adults can break it down on the dance floor at the New Year’s Eve Party in Snowflake Lounge with DJ Bill Da Cat spinning until 12:30am.
