It’s a beautiful day for skiing out there! Grooming Mike is out snowcombing and the tracks are still in great shape. We will have a cabin boy at Trappers cabin today, and it’s looking like a wonderful day for northern Michigan Skiing!

Today, January 3rd: Free Beginner Ski Lesson
Learn how to cross country ski at our FREE beginner ski lesson! You will learn the basics of traditional (classic style) XC ski technique, plus hill climbing, descending, and turning. You will even learn how to get up when you fall down! Free lessons are limited to 25 people. Ski rentals are available at the rental desk on a first-come, first-served basis (we do not take rental reservations). The free lesson lasts 1 hour.

Saturday, Jan 3 & Sunday, Jan 4th: Ski Clinics with Jordyn Ross
Northern Michigan University Nordic Team Alum and top Michigan Cup racer, Jordyn Ross, is back for another outstanding clinic series. The Saturday clinics for beginner skate and intermediate skate and classic are full, but there is room in Sunday’s advanced-intermediate and expert skate and classic clinics.
