Let the weekend begin! The slopes will be open from 9 AM – 9 PM, and the vibes at the resort will be kicking today with DJ’s on the snow deck, Bell’s Brewery tasting next to the DJ, Nastar Racing, and in the Zoo Bar tonight is the awesome Galactic Sherpas band. So get up, and get out here! Temperatures have significantly dropped and we are under a winter weather advisory today and expecting 3 to 7 inches of new snow by the time it is over. Our grooming team has been working all night to give you the best riding today. Expect a firm faster snow today, and as we move into the afternoon and evening expect new snow, some bands of heavier snow is possible.

With the re-freeze over night the parking lots have become very slick, our resort road commission staff are out sanding and salting but, please, take it slow and stay safe. Have a great weekend friends!

RACE EVENTS
NASTAR RACING 1 PM – 3 PM on Camelot Race Arena.

UPDATE: NORTH TOURNAMENT WILL BE CLOSED FOR RACE TRAINING today so please be cautious of the racers. Our ski patrol teams will have rope lines up for these events so please do not go under them, it is for everyone’s safety.

SNOWMAKING-GROOMING UPDATE
Thank A Snowmaker! We are well covered. Thanks to them and our grooming team working 24/7 conditions continue to be great.

RESORT EVENTS
ZOO BAR 6 PM – 9 PM: Galactic Sherpa’s. The Galactic Sherpas are a funk/jam band from Northern Michigan known for their improvisational style, incorporating elements of funk, rock, and psychedelic music, with a large, rotating cast of members over the years. They’ve released several albums like Om, P.Y.L.O.T., and Patina, and frequently play local festivals and breweries in the Michigan area, offering deep jams and cosmic vibes.

SLOPESIDE: 6 PM – 9 PM Brain Thomas

DJ T-BONE: 12 PM – 4 PM on the snow deck at the Day Lodge.

BELL’S BREWERY TASTING: 12 PM – 4 PM Day Lodge Deck.

The Aonach Mor Moonlight Dinner is now on select winter nights. This is a fine dining experience atop North Peak, reached by sleigh ride and served by candlelight. Sign up on our website. It is an experience you don’t want to miss.

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online in advance for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We also have a SnowFlex ticket pack, purchase 2 – 5 days of lift tickets and use them whenever it works out for you, with no blackout dates – 100% flexibility. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to help with anything you may need.
