Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/11

Last updated: Sunday 07:36 PM

Starting our week with a touch of grey. Some light snow showers overnight made for a freshie morning atop the corduroy. Rip laps on all your favorite runs, with nearly 100% open. Mondays hit different when there’s a little bit of powder involved.

What a long strange week we’ve had. After the early January thaw, Mother Natured dropped cold rain and 7 inches of snow! This week starts with a warm spell and then says fare thee well to above freezing temperatures. Those famous Boyne Mountain snowmakers keep truckin’ Wednesday evening.

If you’re picking up, what we’re laying down – show off your best stealies, bears, and tie-dyes this week to be featured on our socials for the eyes of the world.

SAFETY SATURDAYS WITH SKI PATROL

On Saturdays at 9:30am, meet Ski Patrol at the top of Mountain Express for Safety Saturdays. Learn the ins and outs of the Skier Responsibility Code, ask questions, and snag official Boyne Mountain Ski Patrol pins when you attend each session.

SLOPE HOURS

Sunday – Tuesday: 9am – 4:30pm
Wednesday – Sunday: 9am – 9pm

FIRST TRACKS

For season passholders: Mountain Express opens at 8:30am on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Get those fresh corduroy lines before anyone else.

Not a passholder? The Boyne Forever Foundation First Tracks Access experience gives same-day lift ticket holders the same exclusive early-morning lift access (on select dates). It’s your chance to earn those turns and support a great cause.

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDERS

Our snowmaking and grooming teams are actively working on closed terrain throughout the daytime hours. For everyone’s safety, please respect all closure signs and ropes. Great news, uphill skiing and skinning is allowed on designated routes during specific hours.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Smart skiing means better days for everyone. Know the code, respect the mountain, and keep your head up. When you’re paying attention out there, families feel confident, experts can push their limits, and everyone gets the best of winter up north.
