Good Morning from The Highlands Team!

Good Wednesday morning! Winter has returned, with a few inches of fresh snow, and blustery winds from the north bringing in some Arctic air. Bundle up and come on out. All trails are open, conditions will be great and C6 is warm and ready. Our grooming team has been out all night tilling the snow so you can make great turns today. Tonight is the second week of our mid-week Slopes After Sundown event. See the specials below. Enjoy the day at The Highlands! Thanks for enjoying winter with us.

Roads can be slippery at times, but our resort road commission staff are out sanding and salting, so please, take it slow and be safe. Have a great week friends!

SNOWMAKING-GROOMING UPDATE
Thank A Snowmaker! We are well covered. Thanks to them and our grooming team, working 24/7, conditions continue to be great.

RESORT EVENTS
SLOPES AFTER SUNDOWN: When the lights flip on and the trails glow, the mountain feels different. Ski under the stars every Wednesday and Thursday from 5 – 9 PM for just $25. Make midweek something to look forward to. Plus, après deals are waiting when you are done.

The Aonach Mor Moonlight Dinner is now on select winter nights. This is a fine dining experience atop North Peak, reached by sleigh ride and served by candlelight. Sign up on our website. It is an experience you don’t want to miss.

We also have Night Hikes to North Peak on select nights, which is always a favorite for the entire family.

Wednesday, January 14th – Sunday, January 18th 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. (Extra night for Martin Luther King JR. Weekend).

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online in advance for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We also have a SnowFlex ticket pack, purchase 2 – 5 days of lift tickets and use them whenever it works out for you, with no blackout dates – 100% flexibility. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to help with anything you may need.

TODAY’S WEATHER
Snow showers likely, mainly after 10 am. with patchy blowing snow. Mostly cloudy skies, and temperatures falling to around 14 by 10am. Wind chill could be as low as -4. It will be blustery, with a north wind around 20 mph, and gusts up to 35 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70%. Up to an inch of snow may accumulate during the day.

A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 4. Wind chill values as low as -9. Blustery, with a north wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
