Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 01/15
1/15, John Cromell got out early to tackle the aftermath of yesterday’s weather. All trails are groomed. Some of the skate lanes will be soft due to all the new snow and drifting from yesterday’s high winds. Another day of getting trees off of the trails and another day of picking up sticks on the trails. Please help out to remove sticks. Temps are ideal for skiing.
The lodge is open today.

1/15 and John Carlson groomed the snow bike trail located at our upper parking lot.
Bikers, snowshoers. Skiers and dogs can enjoy this 4 mile loop.
This the only trail that allows dogs.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> Tuesday the 3rd of March and our Groomer says we are going to let the trails ride as is until the weekend due to this warm up. Trails will be groomed up for Taste and Glide. You may want to snowshoe or ski to enjoy the full moon this evening with your head lamps. Our signage is reflective. The lodge will be open all week. I won't be doing another report until conditions change. Shortly after grooming was complete snow began. Get out early for the best conditions before this afternoon's warm up.
