Happy Anniversary Weekend! Thanks for being here and celebrating over 60 years of The Highlands. Every January, we take time to celebrate The Highlands not just the year, but the people, stories, and traditions that have shaped this place over generations. Bundle up and let the weekend begin!

We have some fun events happening today at the resort, including a special appearance by U.S. Olympian Zoe Kalapos! You will see her around the Day Lodge and Vintage Race later today. In order to stay warm and cozy, we moved our vendors for our Anniversary Winter Market inside the Day Lodge. Shop jewelry, candles, hand-embroidered clothing, and more! Come take a break and shop the market.

Taking a warm ride to the top on the warmest lift in the Midwest, C6, will make things feel just right! Lifts will be spinning from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Thanks for enjoying winter with us.

Roads and sidewalks are snow covered, but our resort road commission staff are out plowing, sanding and salting, so please, take it slow and be safe. Have a great weekend friends!

RACE EVENTS
VINTAGE SKI RACE: 1 PM – 3 PM Camelot Race Arena.
Dust off your classic ski gear and join us for the Vintage Ski Race, a celebration of retro style and friendly competition. From vibrant sweaters to iconic goggles, this is your chance to show off your throwback fashion while carving down the slopes. Open to skiers aged 7 and up.

Zoo Bar: 4 PM- 8 PM Union Guns
Union Guns is a country-based band that seamlessly blends new as well as the classics with a touch of rock and some pop flair. Based out of Grand Rapids MI, Union Guns brings together a diverse group of musicians with a shared passion for music and performing! Union Guns delivers a unique sound that appeals to audiences of all ages. Whether they’re belting out the sing-a-long anthems, serenading with soulful ballads or just plain in-your-face rock n roll, this band prides itself on how to keep the crowd on their feet and the energy high.

SNOWMAKING-GROOMING UPDATE
Thank a snowmaker! As of now, we are well covered, and there is no need to make snow, but thanks to them and our grooming team, working 24/7, conditions could not get much better.

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online in advance for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We also have a SnowFlex ticket pack, purchase 2 – 5 days of lift tickets and use them whenever it works out for you, with no blackout dates – 100% flexibility. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to help with anything you may need.
