Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/28

Last updated: Wednesday 07:46 AM

Gooooood morning Boyne Mountain! It’s Kyler, with today’s snow report.

We got DUMPED ON yesterday. Way more than what the forecast called for. Over 4" of freshies fell during the day, and it’s all groomed out into fresh corduroy prime for the taking this morning.

Tuesday was probably one of the best snow days I’ve ever had in my skiing career. I’m not exaggerating. North Boyne, McLouth, Klaus’ Laufen… everything was perfect. The stoke is high. Today will be just as good.

Lake effect chances continue today as well. Need I say more? Northwest winds are keeping the lake effect machine running, and we are looking at 2-5" today with the potential for more (or less) depending on how things shape up. You know how it goes with lake effect.

We’re under ANOTHER cold weather advisory. Layer up, pack those hand warmers, and take breaks to warm up. Don’t be a hero out there.

With Big Mountain Energy,
Kyler
