Happy Friday, folks! We’re feeling it over here – that weekend energy is real and the slopes are calling your name.
Last night’s wintry mix left us with a bit of crusty snow on top, but our groomers have been hard at work, and we anticipate the crust will smooth out as riders hit the slopes today. Mother Nature’s got our back here: temperatures will be dropping off as the day progresses, meaning we’re setting up for some seriously sweet conditions all weekend long.
We’ll have the Pink, Purple, and Yellow quads running along with the Magic Carpet until 9:00p. The Low Rider Tow Rope will be open from 3-9pm and the Red lift will close at 4:15p.
And hey, tomorrow’s a big day around here – the White Pine Stampede Point to Point Cross Country Race is celebrating its 50th anniversary! If you want to catch the excitement at the finish line, swing by the Schuss Mountain Pro Shop. Just a heads up: portions of Pinecone and Winterbrook Trails will be closed for the race, but everything should be good to go by 12 Noon.
