FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> All trails groomed yesterday and in great shape including pines loop. Maybe a light touch up today on the east side. One last race on the schedule (SUNDAY) this year, the memorial classic for Mike Keenan. A limited number of candy bars are available for a minimum $10 donation which will go to the Sedona Wolf Sanctuary (you can also make a donation to them directly in Mike’s name). Temps are chilly again but moderating as the day goes on. East and west side trails get the fresh groom today. Pines loop was recently groomed and is in great shape as well. Open at 9. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning for the Forbush Freestyle. The grooming was top-tier, and the competition was even hotter!
🔥 Highlight of the day: A literal PHOTO FINISH in the 5k! Ava Higley and Walter Armstrong battled it out to the millisecond, both finishing at 17:26.
🏆 15k Overall Winners:
Male: Ryan Harris (45:17)
Female: Rebecca Davis (52:27)
