Good morning, Boyne Mountain. It’s Super Bowl Sunday, and kickoff starts on snow.
We’re warming things up today with mostly sunny skies, lighter winds, and a high of 21°. Basically yesterday’s conditions, but upgraded. Still winter, still layer-worthy, just a little friendlier out there.
The mountain is 100% open and skiing fast and firm, perfect for carving turns, chasing speed, or taking a victory lap down Superbowl, arguably the best place to pregame before the actual game.
Before you head out, make a stop at Mountain Express from 11amNoon today for a virtual visit with Duane. He’s been a true mountain legend for years, and while he can’t be here in person, he’d love to see you. Swing by, say hi, share a memory, and send some love his way.
Now grab your gear, take a few laps, and consider this your official warm-up before kickoff. Go ride.

Sunday – Tuesday: 9am – 4:30pm
Wednesday – Saturday: 9am – 9pm
FIRST TRACKS
For season passholders: Mountain Express opens at 8:30am on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Get those fresh corduroy lines before anyone else.
Not a passholder? The Boyne Forever Foundation First Tracks Access experience gives same-day lift ticket holders the same exclusive early-morning lift access (on select dates). It’s your chance to earn those turns and support a great cause.
IGLU BOYNE MOUNTAIN
Michigan’s new snow fort bar is open at Disciples Overlook. Fire pits outside, fur blankets inside, and an Aperol Spritz that supports the Boyne Forever Foundation. Access via Disciples 8 or SkyBridge Michigan.
LIGHTS IN THE SKY
Over 200,000 lights. World’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge. Panoramic views of the Boyne Valley. Take the chairlift up and walk the bridge at night.
IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDERS
Our snowmaking and grooming teams are actively working on closed terrain throughout the daytime hours. For everyone’s safety, please respect all closure signs and ropes. Great news, uphill skiing and skinning is allowed on designated routes during specific hours.
