Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 02/14
Happy Valentine’s Day! It looks like a lovely day to ski at Nub’s Nob.
The snow surface is machine groomed snow that is in excellent condition. There is some fog on the slopes this morning that is expected to burn off during the day and give way to some sunshine by the afternoon.
The forecast is calling for a high temperature just above freezing.
Pintail Peak Lodge is open with food service and an espresso bar. The outdoor Winter Garden Cafe is also open with some food and beverages on the deck. Brian Johnson will play outside in the Winter Garden this afternoon. The soup of the day is sausage and bean florentine!
The lifts will spin from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with an hour break at 4:30 p.m. to groom for night skiing.

Ski Odyssey is a program designed to teach beginners aged 7 and older to ski, who have never skied before.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from January 9 through March 8, 2026, the Winter Sports School will offer group lessons including equipment and a lift ticket for $50. All sessions are limited to 8 or fewer students.
Each person who completes the maximum of two Ski Odyssey sessions this season is eligible for $100 off a ski package at Bahnhof Ski Shop in Petoskey, as well as a Bargain Pass valid through the end of the season for $100
