CONDITIONS UPDATE: February 18th 2026

ALL LIFTS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD

Today’s Blog
Good Wednesday Morning! It will be a blustery day on the mountain, and ALL LIFTS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD DUE TO WEATHER. As they say in Michigan, "Just wait 5 minutes, and the weather will change," and that it has, from yesterday’s sunny bluebird day, to today’s winter storm watch, and all local schools are closed! We are currently experiencing a heavy wet snow, which we will take over the freezing rain this morning. Our Mountain Ops Team is monitoring the winds and weather conditions every minute and we will get you on the hill when it is safe to do so. Thank you for understanding.

Our world-class grooming team has been out all night battling the conditions to provide you with the best possible product today. Lifts will be spinning until 9:00 PM so come get your turns in once we give the all clear! It’s going to be a great day here at THE HIGHLANDS! We are ready and hope you have a great week with us.

Taking a warm ride to the top on the warmest lift in the Midwest, C6, will make things feel just right!
