Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 02/26
Shaping up to be a wonderful 5 day stretch of xc skiing at the corner. We have plenty of snow on the trail system. The brief warm up into the 40s on Friday will be short lived with colder temps returning overnight and into the weekend.
The east side trails will get a fresh groom today including the crowd favorite Pines Loop. Need some advice on how to improve your skiing? Head to our website and sign up for a lesson under the ski school tab in the drop down menu.

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Open 9-5. Winter has returned. The surface has firmed up with the colder temps. Skiing should be pretty good, but do dress warmer than Saturday and Sunday. Everything was groomed yesterday, so the groomer will redo some of those trails today, the main loop for sure. #forbush #SkiMichigan

It would be best if skiers let the deck and tracks sit until at least 10A to firm up. (setting up time is good for the groomed trails) Please use mdot to assess when and where driving is worrisome, and be careful in our parking lot. The snow is super wet and slippery on top of ice in some areas. Please use the Nordic Pulse app or website to see what has been groomed so far. #forbush #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganOpen 9-5. it is still snowing lightly; and the grooming process has commenced.
