Gooooood morning Boyne Mountain! It’s Kyler, with today’s snow report.
Quiet weekend ahead as far as weather goes.
Cloudy with a high of 21° and winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Temperatures are back down to winter levels after yesterday’s warm spell, which means the snow is firming back up nicely. The groomers were out last night laying down fresh cord after yesterday’s warmup. Get after some morning laps if you want the good stuff.
Our Aperol Après Series continues this weekend with DJ PRIM at Iglu from 4-6pm. Good vibes, good drinks, and good music. That’s the move.
P.S. The jump for Air & Après is complete, and will be open to the public leading up to the event on March 14. Send it big, but play it safe. We’ll be chirping from the lift.

FIRST TRACKS
For season passholders: Mountain Express opens at 8:30am on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays. Get those fresh corduroy lines before anyone else.

Our snowmaking and grooming teams are actively working on closed terrain throughout the daytime hours. For everyone’s safety, please respect all closure signs and ropes. Great news, uphill skiing and skinning is allowed on designated routes during specific hours.

Duane was more than a lift operator; he was a greeter, a candy man, a Legend with a capital L. The kind of person who made a chairlift ride feel like the best part of your day. If you were lucky, you'd settle into your seat and feel something land in your hood. A little piece of candy, and a whole lot of joy.
He did that for everyone. He didn't care if you were on your first run or your thousandth.
That's what made Duane so special. He was a constant reminder that mountains are shared places. We all come here chasing the same thing. Deep snow, first tracks, and a feeling that's hard to explain to anyone who hasn't felt it. Duane got that better than most.
Opening day is going to feel a little different this year. But we carry him with us in every bluebird morning, every act of kindness passed to a stranger on the lift, and every kid who gets their first taste of winter magic.
