Shanty Creek Snow Report – 03/01

Schuss Mountain

MARCH 1

March is here, and winter is still alive and well at Schuss Mountain. Expect cloudy skies with highs around 20° — cold enough to keep the corduroy crisp after overnight grooming. Our 45” base is machine groomed and variable, and the cool temperatures will have the trails skiing nicely.

The yellow, pink, and purple chairlifts along with the magic carpet and Low Rider Tow will run from 9a–4:30p. The red chairlift will operate from 9a–4:15p.

A couple of things to note heading into your day: Ski Patrol will be conducting training exercises on the red chairlift first thing this morning, though it should have no impact on your experience on the hill. Good Knight will be closed to the public today as Schuss Mountain hosts the final race of the season.

Sunday also means the Super Sunday Special is back — lift tickets, rentals, and lesson stations at the magic carpet starting at noon, all for just $60.
