Good Sunday Morning! The 1st day of March has come and that means we have 21 days until we close for the season, sorry to see it go so fast but it’s been a great season! Let’s finish it’s out with sunshine and bluebird days ahead. It’s going to be a great day to be on the slopes. Today we welcome hundreds of local ski racing clubs from throughout Northern Michigan as we host the 2026 Volkl Cup (formerly The Welborn Cup). NORTH AND SOUTH CHALLENGER RUNS WILL BE CLOSED ALL DAY! It’s going to be a cold day but the sun will be out making it feel much warmer. It will be a perfect time to take a ride on the warmest lift in the Midwest C6! Our world-class grooming team has been out all night, laying down fresh corduroy for you to enjoy today. So get up, bundle up, and get out here, as the riding will be spectacular today! We hope you enjoy your day at The Highlands! We are glad you’re here.

SNOWMAKING | GROOMING UPDATE
Thank a snowmaker! As of now, we are well covered, and there is no need to make snow. Thanks to them and our 24/7 grooming team, conditions could not get much better.

LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL, & SKI SCHOOL
Before heading to the hill, you should buy your lift tickets online for the lowest rates. Rentals and lessons should be reserved 24 – 48 hours in advance. We now have a Winter Bundle that lets you bundle lift, rental, and a lesson to customize your experience. We also have a SnowFlex ticket pack, purchase 2 – 5 days of lift tickets and use them whenever it works out for you, with no blackout dates – 100% flexibility. We want it to be easy. Our Resort Services team is available in the Day Lodge to assist with any needs.
