Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 03/05

We are in a freeze and thaw cycle currently. When the frozen snow is groomed the result is a granular snow sometimes referred to as "corn snow". This type of snow can be great for skiing especially as it just starts to soften, today the timing should be late morning to the early afternoon.

Skiers sometimes refer to this golden time as "corn o’clock". The high today will reach just over 40 degrees and some sunshine is predicted.

The soup of the day is sausage and potato. Pintail Peak Lodge is open with an espresso bar and food service.

The lifts will spin from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with an hour break at 4:30 p.m.

Make it a great day at Nub’s Nob.

New Snow: 0 inches

Base: Up to 45 inches
