Marquette Mountain Snow Report – 03/08

☀️ Bluebird Sunday is Here! Time to Spring Forward & Send It! 🏔️

Did you remember to set your clocks ahead? ⏰ We might have lost an hour of sleep to Daylight Saving Time, but the rain has officially cleared out, the sun is shining, and we are ready to make up for yesterday with an absolutely EPIC day on the mountain!

Thanks to the time change, we’ve got even more afternoon daylight to soak up those spring skiing and après vibes.

Here is your lineup for today’s massive mega-schedule:

🏂 Today’s Schedule of Events:

🕘 9:00 AM – The Hornbogen Memorial Race: The coolest race in the Midwest kicks off with the Downhill! We’ve packed all the weekend’s race events into today, so the energy is going to be electric.

🎿 All Day – World Telemark Day MeetUp: Calling all free-heelers! Come enjoy a sunny day of camaraderie on the slopes. Drop the knee, and if you’re feeling adventurous, jump into the Hornbogen!

⛺ All Day – Compound Demo Day: Head over to the base of Snowfield to test out some fresh new gear from 9 AM-3 PM.

🕚 11:00 AM – Outdoor Bar & Grill: The grill fires up and the drinks start pouring outside the Tbar. Grab some lunch and soak up those extra rays of sunshine! 🍻🍔

🕒 3:00 PM – Live Music: Noah Bauer takes the stage to keep the après-ski energy high all afternoon. 🎸

Marquette Mountain is CLOSED today (Saturday). Because of the heavy rain safety and snow preservation have to come first. This means today's World Telemark Day MeetUp and Day 1 of the Hornbogen Memorial Race are officially on pause.
🎉 The Good News: Tomorrow is Going to be EPIC!
We aren't letting a little rain ruin our weekend. The forecast for tomorrow (Sunday, March 8th) is looking sunny and spectacular, so we are packing all the action into one massive day of spring skiing and après vibes!
Here is what’s going down tomorrow:
🏁 The Hornbogen Memorial Race: All events have been moved to Sunday! The lineup kicks off with the Downhill at 9 AM. Come out for the coolest race in the Midwest!
🎿 Telemark MeetUp: Calling all free-heelers! Join us tomorrow for a sunny day of camaraderie and dropping the knee. (And hey, consider competing in the Hornbogen while you're at it!)
🏂 Demo Day: Compound will be set up at the base of Snowfield. Come test out some fresh gear from 9 AM - 3 PM!
🍔 Outdoor Bar & Grill: Opens at 11 AM right outside the Tbar. Grab a drink, get some food, and soak up the sun.
🎸 Live Music: Noah Bauer takes the stage at 3 PM to keep the après-ski energy high!
Stay dry today, rest up those legs, and we will see you tomorrow for a bluebird day of racing, riding, and good times at the Mountain! 🏔️☀️

Snowfield Chair opens at 8:30 AM to accommodate the Downhill. There will be periodic closures across the mountain for race events, yet the mountain remains open to all guests.
Uphill Access:

Mother Nature is sending us some heavy rain tonight and tomorrow, so Marquette Mountain will be CLOSED tomorrow (Saturday, March 7th). Because of this, tomorrow's World Telemark Day MeetUp and Day 1 of the Hornbogen Memorial Race are officially on pause. We know it’s a bummer to miss a Saturday on the slopes, but safety and snow preservation come first!
